PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
The purpose of the Constructing Hope Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program is to help participant develop an understanding of apprenticeship opportunities, which are available in the construction trades. Participant will develop skills that will aid them in researching, accessing and applying for apprenticeship and construction trade occupations. Each participant will gain knowledge and basic entry-level skills, plus familiarity with trade tools, terminology, basic principals, and career opportunities in the trade.
Students will attend a 3 Months/145 hours pre-apprenticeship training program and classes will be located at the Irvington Covenant Community site. Classes will be taught by program instructors as will as construction trades men and women, Students will follow a Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday training schedule.
