PORTLAND, Ore. — A program focused on helping people rebuild their lives is getting a big boost.
‘Constructing Hope’ took KATU through their newly renovated workforce training center. The building in northeast Portland will allow for larger class sizes, which will open up more job training spots.
Their focus is on helping people of color, formerly incarcerated people, and low-income individuals train for careers in construction.
Program graduate Gerry Jones says the program changed his life.
